Women’s sneakers continue to be featured in the fall rankings

CARY, NC – The Duke Women’s Tennis Team continued to play Friday at the 2022 Fall Ranking Spotlight at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, NC

In the morning, Duke’s 100th place Emma Jackson earned an impressive victory over 10th-placed Ohio State’s Irina Cantos Siemers 6-4, 7-5, before falling in the second round, 3-6, 2-6, to 28th-placed Carolina’s Carson Tanguilig. From north.

Both Jackson and Morra will resume singles play Saturday morning at 9 am. Jackson will face third-placed Daria Frayman of Princeton, while Morra will face 66th-placed Isabella Pfennig of Miami. Codd will face Lucia Marzal of Ohio State on Saturday at 11 am.
