Clippers star Paul George gives a stern warning to the rest of the NBA that Kawhi Leonard will love

When Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Los Angeles Clippers in 2019, many expected them to immediately rack up the trophies. Everyone knows how that played out by now: In 2020, the Clippers squandered three double-digit leads against the Nuggets in their infamous 3-1 bubble choke, and in 2021, they lost Leonard to a second-round injury, effectively dashing their Championship hopes for good. Last season, with Leonard still recovering from injury, George played just 31 games, his lowest total in a season since returning from the broken leg he suffered in 2014.

However, Paul George is confident of putting his injury woes behind him after an offseason of hard work and is issuing a warning that would scare the rest of the NBA, especially with reports about Kawhi Leonard’s health.

Speaking to ESPN’s Ohm Youngmisuk, George said, “I’m excited…you’re going to see the best of PG this season.” George also added that the only downtime he had during the off season was when he went to Italy for his wedding.
