Warriors’ Klay Thompson Says Epic Farewell to NBA’s ‘Big’ Offseason

After winning his fourth title in eight seasons with the Warriors, Klay Thompson has been living his best life all offseason.

From the Bahamas to his backyard with his dog Rocco, Thompson’s summer world tour has come to an end.

But the end of summer means the 2022-23 NBA season is upon us, and Thompson appears to be more ready than ever.

In addition to dancing and boat jumping in vivid blue waters and drinking beers at Dodger Stadium, Thompson has worked the basketball court all offseason as he prepares to chase the number five ring.

Earlier this month, the Splash Bro missed 22 straight 3-pointers during an offseason practice. He hit 11 of 11 on both sides and missed just 15 shots during the 70-minute practice, according to Swish Cultures.

This rash behind the arc came just days after Thompson expressed his frustrations with NBA 2K23 for giving him an 88-point rating, referring to the video game developer as clowns and “bums”.

And that’s just a snippet of what we got from an angry Thompson who just needs a little bit to stoke his fire.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said he’s glad Thompson had the summer of his life and his first true offseason since rehab for more than two years with back-to-back injuries.

The perfect offseason reset is exactly what Thompson needed. And it brings even more excitement to an already exciting season for Golden State.
