San Beda squanders big advantage but escapes San Sebastian late game

San Beda University let a big 23-point lead slip away, but late-game composure helped the Red Lions clinch a 78-71 victory over San Sebastian College-Recoletos in NCAA season 98 action on Wednesday. .

San Beda, who recovered from a loss, improved to 2-2, while San Sebastian dropped to an identical 2-2 card.

James Kwekuteye starred for San Beda with 20 points, three rebounds and three steals.
