Help others by playing golf! The Rutherford County School Resource Officers Golf Tournament

(RUTHERFORD COUNTY, TN) If you enjoy a good game of golf then you should consider playing a game to help students with special needs in our community. At this time, more golfers are needed for the Sheriff’s School Resource Officers Golf Tournament, which will be held this Saturday to fund an event for students with special needs and provide scholarships for graduates.

Check-in begins at 7 am this Saturday at Cedar Crest Golf Course (7972 Mona Road), just outside Murfreesboro city limits and close to I-840. The start will be at 8 am. Lunch will be provided by Bob’s BBQ.

There will be prizes for first and second place. Golfers will earn prizes for the longest unit closest to the pin. Of course, the greatest gift is helping students with special needs who will benefit from their round of golf!

The cost to participate is $300 for a team of four. Golfers will also enjoy bidding during the silent auction. One of the main items up for grabs includes a guitar signed by country music artist Carrie Underwood and Grammy-winning band Old Dominion.
