APSU Men’s Golf Takes 12th Place at Grover Page Classic – Clarksville Online




The Governors finished one stroke ahead of 13th-place Southeastern Louisiana and beat 14th-place Eastern Kentucky by 14 strokes, finishing just two strokes behind 11th-placed Nicholls State and seven behind 10th-placed Central Arkansas.

Falk Schollert’s third round score of 70 matched his first round of 70 as the best round of the tournament by a governor. Roskilde in Denmark started their round on the 12th hole and was two over par before making five birdies on the first nine. Falk Schollert’s two under 70s in the third round helped him climb 13 spots on the leaderboard and he finished the tournament tied for 13th with two points.

Britt used four birdies and an eagle to move up 18 places on the leaderboard in the final round on the 6,783-yard par 72 lane. Britt had a total score of 227 and finished the tournament tied for 62nd with 11 overs.

Morgan Robinson had his best round of the tournament with three over 75 in the third round. Robinson earned four leaderboard positions to finish the tournament tied for 81st at 17-over.

Rounding out the scoring for the APSU Govs, Daniel Love hit his third straight streak of five for 77. Love scored for the Governors in all three rounds of the Grover Page Classic and finished in 73rd place with 15 over par.

Finally, Adam Van Raden hit 79 in the third round and finished tied for 57th with nine over par. Van Raden’s third round 79 marked the first time in his last 33 rounds that he hasn’t scored for Austin Peay State University.
