The Shotgun/Throwdown: Is CJ Donaldson a future college football star?

Welcome, By-Godders, to The Shotgun/Throwdown, the WVU’s best place for sports links, information, sophomore humor and daily distractions.

West Virginia football fans enjoyed the improved game at the quarterback position, with junior JT Daniels taking the starting role, but the WVU offense also improved their running game. The increase in ball toss production is largely due to contributions from real rookie CJ Donaldson.

Donaldson’s college career got off to a great start. He leads the Mountaineers with 274 yards and six touchdowns in his first three games. Donaldson also averages 9.4 yards per carry and 91.3 yards per game.

I hope this was just a glimpse of the career Donaldson could have at WVU.
