Nimmo sixth – Racers seventh after two rounds of Grover Page Classic

Jay Nimmo ranked sixth and the Murray State men’s golf team had a seventh-place spot after 36 holes of the Grover Page Classic at the Jackson Country Club in Jackson, Tennessee.

The Racers scored 292 shots in the morning but managed to cut seven shots in the afternoon to post 285 3 under par. MSU’s total of 577 was Morehead State’s two shots at 575. North Alabama (562), Tennessee Tech (567), Bellarmine (567) and host UT Martin (569) made up the top 5.

Nimmo ranked sixth with a score of 74-66=140, with teammate Kamaren Cunningham one shot away at 141 on scores of 69-72. MSU’s Trey Lewis had a vacancy in 44º place in scores of 74-73=147, while John Buchanan rounds carded from 76-74 = 150 to 57º Place, put. Walker Beck it was in 72na place in rounds of 75-79 = 154.

Tuesday’s final 18 holes begin with a shotgun blast at 8:30am
