BUCYRUS What Colonel Crawford has accomplished over the past five years as a varsity program is nothing short of remarkable.
In their first season competing in the Northern 10, the Eagles were last in the league with a 2-2 record.

Monday afternoon at Bucyrus Golf Club, Colonel Crawford won his fourth straight N10 title shooting 364, 56 strokes better than runner-up Upper Sandusky. In the regular season, the Eagles have 38 wins and 2 losses since their first season.
Liv Gier of Upper Sandusky was the medalist with a tournament record of 79, but it was Colonel Crawford’s consistent scores that led the Eagles to another title.
Lucy Myers led the way for CC with 85, Ayla McKibben followed with 89, Sophie Beck with 93, Claire Lehman with 97 and Lexi Rush with 99.
Wynford finished second overall for the season, despite a third-place finish (429) in the tournament. Jordyn Alspach was runner-up medalist with 83, Rylee Robinson hit 102, Kylianna Bennett 119, Melanie Johnson 125 and Emi Schuster 155 the drop.
Buckeye Central was sixth in the tournament with 435 and sixth in the league. Elizabeth Krebs followed the team with a 103, Allison Close shot a 107 as number 5, Ryley Kantzer 112 and Makayla Martin 113; 123 by Brooke Songer and 124 by Samantha Utz.
The postseason kicks off next week with the sectional tournament at the Valley View Golf Course in Galion on Tuesday. The top three teams and three individuals not on the teams advance to the districts.
