“We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend of games to kick off the season. It was great to test early in the season with so many competitive games over the weekend,” said the coach. Jorge Caetano. “It’s easier to play conservatively early in the season and get wins because everyone is rusty, so we talked about not letting winning get in the way of improvement and overall we did a great job there.”

Caetano went on to say, “On the first day we made a lot of decision-making mistakes, especially in doubles, but as the weekend went on, our decision-making improved a lot, but we still need to improve our execution and the only way to do that is playing more matches so we are very excited for another big weekend of matches at the UCA next weekend.”

Murray State continues the fall season this weekend (September 23-24) at the Central Arkansas Invitational
