Otto Orf Charity Golf Classic: 17th Annual Geauga County Golf Course Event

CHESTERLAND, Ohio – The 17th Annual Otto Orf Charity Golf Classic is scheduled for Friday, September 2.

The Fowlers Mill Golf Course in Chesterland includes breakfast, lunch, bar stations, steak dinner, raffles and prizes.

Scheme

9:30-10:45 AM – Registration, breakfast, driving range.

11 a.m. – Shotgun start.

4:30 PM / 5:00 PM – Dinner, raffles, prizes, awards.

Cleveland sports and media personalities are scheduled to attend the outing, a fundraiser for HandsOnSports Foundation. The 13-year-old foundation provides sports instruction, equipment, and support to underprivileged children in Northeastern Ohio and abroad. It also donates medical supplies to those in need. The foundation was founded by Orf, former Cleveland Crunch goalkeeper.

Cost: $1,000 per team or $250 per player. Golfers will also receive event apparel and a gift bag. A $50 bonus package includes pitting competitions and other amenities.

The Geauga County track was designed by Pete Dye. It is at 13095 Rockhaven Road, Chesterland.
