Montana Western No.17, Rocky Mountain No. 19 in NAIA Preseason Poll | Border Conference

Kansas City, Mo. – The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) has released the first edition of the 2022 Football FirstDown PlayBook Top-25 Poll. In the preseason rankings, the Bulldogs are number 17.

Montana Western finished the 2021 season at number 18 in the latest NAIA rankings after claiming a share of the Frontier Conference title. The Bulldogs finished the season 8-4, closing the season with a first-round bid for the NAIA Football Championship Series.

The Frontier Conference also saw Rocky Mountain College in the No. 19 spot. Carroll College and College of Idaho both get top 25 votes.

College Football America Yearbook also released its 2022 NAIA Preseason Top 30 on Thursday night, July 28, with Montana Western Football ranked No. 20.

The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features more than 900 college football teams from the United States and Canada on more than 250 eye-catching full-color pages. That includes every team from the NCAA (FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III), NAIA, NJCAA, CCCAA and U Sports (Canada). It also features dozens of action shots and stadium shots taken by the CFA staff.

Other Frontier Conference teams in the top 30 include Rocky Mountain College (22), College of Idaho (26) and Carroll College (30).
