Joining the current ARCA Menards Series title contenders in Michigan is the 2020 Series Champion. Bret Holmes, part-time Truck Series owner/driver, will make his second ARCA Menards Series start of 2022 with the No. 23 Golden Eagle Syrup Chevrolet from his family team. Holmes also raced at Talladega Superspeedway this year, where he finished second.

Another notable driver on the entry list for Saturday night’s race in Michigan is Cody Coughlin, who is scheduled to make his first ARCA Menards Series start since 2015. Coughlin is an accomplished short track racer who also has 53 truck series on his resume. He will race in a family car with Kevin Hamlin as his crew chief.
